J. Albert Finkel and Irma Jane Finkel Scholarship – Established by a bequest from the estate of J. Albert "Al" Finkel, Jr. of Hope. Mr. Finkel, was a 1941 graduate of Purdue University. Mrs. Finkel was a life-long educator in the Bartholomew Consolidated School Corporation and was honored as a Sagamore of the Wabash for her educational influence on children.
Criteria: Bartholomew County high school graduates who will be attending Purdue University's School of Agriculture. Renewable for the remaining three years of college providing the student maintains a 2.0 grade point average.

Dr. Cleve James Francoeur, Jr. Memorial Scholarship – Established by Mr. & Mrs. Cleve J. Francoeur, Sr. in memory of their son. A graduate of Wabash College and Indiana University Medical School, Dr. Francoeur practiced dermatology in Bartholomew and Jackson Counties. He passed away in an automobile accident February 2007.
Criteria: High school students who graduated from a Bartholomew or Jackson County high school and who are entering medical school as freshmen or who are in medical school as upperclassmen at Indiana University Medical School. Applicants must have a 3.0 GPA.
The scholarship will be renewable for up to four years of medical school providing the recipient maintains a 3.0 GPA.

Goldie Gibson Memorial Scholarship – Established in memory of Goldie Gibson. Ms. Gibson worked on behalf of the poor in Bartholomew, Brown, Jackson and adjacent counties.
Criteria: High school graduates from Bartholomew, Brown, Decatur, Jackson, Johnson and Shelby counties who were Head Start participants as children. Applicants must have been accepted or attending an accredited post-secondary educational institution in pursuit of a technical certificate, associate's degree or bachelor's degree.

Louis A. and Kathy M. Giovanini Scholarship – Established by Mr. and Mrs. Giovanini to provide an annual scholarship to a graduating senior form Columbus East High School. Mr. Giovanini was a coach and teacher at Columbus East for more than 25 years and Mrs. Giovanini was an elementary teacher in the Bartholomew Consolidated School Corporation for 20 years.
Criteria: Graduating seniors from Columbus East High School who plan to pursue post-secondary education at a vocational/technical school, junior college, college or university. Recipients may reapply annually.

Myron Glick Memorial Scholarship - Established by the Indiana Soybean Board to honor Mr. Glick who died on his farm in July 2005. Following graduation from Purdue, Myron returned to his family farm and seed business in Bartholomew County. At the time of his death, he was serving his eighth year as Director of the Indiana Soybean Board.
Criteria: Residents of Bartholomew, Decatur, Franklin, Jackson, Jennings and Shelby Counties who plan to attend or are currently attending Purdue University as full – time students. Applicants must be from a farm family where the primary income is from the operation of the family farm.

Becky S. Green Memorial Scholarship - Established in memory of Becky S. Green by her husband, Monty Green. Mrs. Green taught business classes at Columbus East and Columbus North High Schools and was a faculty sponsor of the Business Professionals of America Chapter at both schools.
Criteria: Graduating seniors from Columbus East or Columbus North High Schools who are current members of their high school chapter of the Business Professionals of America. Must have at least an 8.0 GPA on a 12.0 scale. Applicant will pursue a post-secondary degree at an accredited college or university. Financial need will be considered.

Waldo M. and Madge C. Harrison Scholarship – Established by Mrs. Harrison to express her appreciation to the employees of Four Season Retirement Center for care given to her and to her husband.
Criteria: Employees of Four Seasons Retirement Center wanting to further their education and/or technical skills. Applicant must pursue a particular course of study that leads to a specific degree or certification, have worked at Four Seasons at least six months and continue to work at Four Seasons at least part-time while taking classes. If currently enrolled in a college or university, must have a 2.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale.

Bill and Jody Harter Scholarship – Established by Mr. & Mrs. Harter, longtime residents of Columbus, to encourage higher education for resident of Bartholomew County Bill served as an instructor at both IUPUC and Ivy Tech State College for nine years.
Criteria: Residents of Bartholomew County who are graduating seniors or graduates of a Bartholomew County high school currently attending or planning to attend IUPUC or Ivy Tech State College in Columbus as full-time students pursuing an associate's degree or bachelor's degree. Applicants must have at least a 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale or an 8.0 on as 12.0 scale. Recipients may re-apply annually as long as they remain in good standing with the college or university.

Mary Ann Heise Memorial Scholarship – Established by Scott Heise
in memory of the wife, Mary Ann, who was a Columbus North High School math teacher.
Criteria: Graduating senior from Columbus North High School who will attend a college or university as a full-time student to pursue a degree in education.

Harold H. Heminger Graduate School Scholarship – Established by The Findlay Publishing Company of Findlay, Ohio, in memory of Harold H. Heminger, President of the Findlay Publishing Company from 1965 – 1983. The Findlay Publishing Company is the parent company of White River Broadcasting located in Columbus.
Criteria: Bartholomew County public, private or home schooled high school graduate who will be pursuing graduate studies at an accredited graduate or professional institution and demonstrates leadership, hard work, good citizenship, community service, dependability and character. Applicant must be a graduate or graduating senior of any higher education facility with a minimum GPA of 3.3. Applicant must be enrolled in or accepted for admission in an accredited graduate or professional institution, which normally maintains a regular faculty and curriculum and normal has a regular organized body of students in attendance in the place where its educational activities are carried on. The institution may include a college or university. Students who receive full scholarship support from others organizations/institutions will not be considered for this scholarship. Financial need will be considered.

Heritage Fund Memorial Scholarship – The recipient of this scholarship will be selected annually from all those students who apply for other Heritage Fund scholarship using the Heritage Fund Combined Scholarship Application.
Earl E. & Mildred L. Bless Hudson Scholarship for Education – Established by Mr. & Mrs. Hudson, both former educators, to help students pursue degrees in education.
Criteria: Resident of the State of Indiana pursuing undergraduate or graduate degree in the field of education at an accredited post-secondary institution. Financial need will be considered.
